Welcome to HVA! I am Jenn Hardy, owner/director, coach and trainer. Feel free to come by and check out our facilities, meet the coaches, and see how we train. Our focus here is develop and training of the complete individual. We are starting our second season of club soon! Our first season was successful! All of our athletes improved in their sports performance under Coach Ross, and in their volleyball skills and IQ of the game. In addition, these athletes made their respective local teams. HVA (HARDYS VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY) is a volleyball academy which creates a space for athletes of all skill levels and backgrounds to play the sport that they love and to foster growth as both athletes and individuals. The club is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2023.
HVA offers a variety of programs for players of all ages and skill levels. These programs include recreational, competitive, and travel teams. The club also offers camps and clinics throughout the year.

Some of the amazing things we have to offer:
9s-12s: Prodigy training and development program. Those interested in this program will be focusing on skill development and IQ development in the game of volleyball, as well as focusing on fine motor skill training and dynamic moves that are functional to the sport of volleyball. This program is for those that want to train and get introduced to volleyball in a professional environment without having to play club volleyball.

10/11u: Competitive Club Team that will travel locally. Members of this team will participate in speed, agility, jump training and mobility training twice per week in the pre-season and once per week during season, in addition to practicing volleyball once per week during pre-season and twice per week during season. Athletes will be training 6 hours per week which includes agility and volleyball specific training.
12u: Competitive Club Team that will travel locally. Members of this team will participate in speed, agility, jump training and mobility training twice per week in the pre-season and once per week during season, in addition to practicing volleyball once per week during pre-season and twice per week during season. Athletes will be training 6 hours per week which includes agility and volleyball specific training.
13u: Competitive Club Team that will travel locally and out of state. Members of this team will participate in speed, agility, jump training and mobility training twice per week in the pre-season and once per week during season, in addition to practicing volleyball once per week during pre-season and twice per week during season. Athletes will be training 6 hours per week which includes agility and volleyball specific training.

WHY IS THIS CLUB DIFFERENT?
This club is being created for athletes that play volleyball. As a multi-sport athlete myself, I truly believe that overall athleticism is of the utmost importance. I love when kids play other sports and I do not believe that a kid should have to choose or specialize in one sport, especially at a young age. Club ball is important but it is not the most important.
TRAINING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT AND THAT IS WHY WE ARE THE BEST!
We train the athletes in the physical and mental aspects of the game of life and in volleyball.
Yes your child will be challenged both mentally and physically, but in positive ways in which they can gain confidence.
This will be established early in the pre-season where the focus will be less on volleyball in the beginning, but more on developing their movements to become more dynamic and more explosive. Also, a key component that we place a lot of value on is mobility and flexibility to help with injury prevention. In addition to focusing on injury prevention, fine motor skill training is very important in all skills of volleyball, which is another key component of our training.
Another difference is that our facilities are always open to parents during practices, trainings, and scrimmages. We value our parents and we want parents involved in a positive way in our organization. We are an open training environment organization!
